Todai SSB, Inc. develops, franchises, and licenses sushi and seafood buffet restaurants under the "Todai" name. The first Todai opened in Southern California in 1985. A sushi and seafood buffet was introduced to the general public and this was the beginning of a growth of this concept throughout the country.

Today, there are 25 Todai Restaurants including 22 in the Continental US, 1 in Hawaii, 1 in Hong Kong, and 1 in South Korea.
